My word, y’all. This was a busy weekend!! On Thursday evening I headed to Boone, NC with my mom and stay there until about mid-afternoon on Saturday. It was a fast trip, but we packed in a ton fun!
Friday morning I spoke at the Carole Mcleod Entrepreneur Summit at Appalachian State, then ate lunch at Black Cat’s and proceeded to {try} to take blog pictures at Brown’s Choose & Cut Christmas Tree Farm. It was SO windy and cold though... I’m honestly not sure if I’ll post the pictures. I have a picture of the top of one of the trees getting blown sideways as a point of reference for the chaos haha. We’ll see!
Saturday we took our time getting out of bed and then walked around, visiting some of my favorite spots in town including The Tomato Shack and the Mast General Store. At lunch I picked up food from Our Daily Bread and had a picnic with my mom on the top of Beacon Heights Rock. I can’t wait to show you guys the pics from that event!! It was so beautiful!!
Until then, though, are these leaves not the most beautiful!?! I am loving all of the yellow right now. I hope you all had a great weekend!

  20. I love that you borrowed that shirt from a friend! Such a cute way to style flannel for the fall! I always fall into a slump once the weather drops a little colder than "fall" weather and more towards winter – and in the colllllddd Connecticut is experiencing, I'm struggling to find outfits!
