4th of July Style: For Him

Shorts: Tipsy Elves c/o // Sandals: Rainbows
Cornhole Boards: Johnston County Cornhole

Bry isn't much of a fashion person. Yes, at times he likes to wear stylish things {like to weddings and what not}, but in general he just grabs what's convenient and walks out the door. When he does decide to put together an outfit that is intentionally stylish, though, his top requirement is that he's comfortable. Well let me tell you, if this outfit is anything, it is comfortable! It has been so hot around here lately, so wearing breezy clothes is a must!

This look is perfect for the 4th or any patriotic event! Whether going to the pool, to the beach or just going to dinner, it will get a ton of complements! Buy some of these shorts for your man's July 4th celebrations. He will love them!

Palm Printed Romper

Romper: H&M (found it in store, could only find it online here, also loving) //
Arrow Necklace: Frill // Horn Necklace: Frill (similar)
Watch: Michael Kors (old, similar) // Shoes: Target  // Belt: J.Crew (similar)

As you guys read in my most recent post, prints are one of my favorite parts of summer. In the post, I went over all of my current faves and am now wearing one of them! Palm prints are perfect for summer and I am literally obsessing over this romper! I think the thing that I love most about palm prints are that they are bright and colorful, yet in a way, almost have a neutrality about them. (Kind of like the military/olive green colors worn in fall. They are well suited on everyone and almost seem like a staple.)

When I was shopping the other day, I was instantly drawn to this romper! The print is adorable, the colors pop and the cut is extremely flattering! You barely have to accessorize it. Don't you agree!?

Hey y'all! I'm so sorry. I had an outfit post scheduled for today, but when I got home and looked, the pictures just weren't what I'd quite planned. {Don't you just hate when that happens? haha} Anyway, I decided to retake the pictures later and in the meantime I figured I would cover this season's top trending prints!! {Just about as good as an outfit post, right?!}

Prints are one of my favorite parts of summer! Yes, you can wear them all year round, but for some reason the summer seems to just be made for them. Don't you agree? What's your favorite of the above?

Fuchsia on the Lake

Top: Vestique {borrowed from Sharon}
Shorts: TJ Maxx {old, similar here & here} // Shoes: Target
 Necklace: I made it! {similar} // Sunnies: Nordstrom Rack
 Bracelet: Stella & Dot

Y'all know how obsessed Sharon and I am with fuchsia... There's just something about it! That color can literally make any piece look 100 times better. The simplest pieces can turn amazing, simply because they pop! Don't you agree!? I wore this top at the lake last week and I LOVE it! It's perfect for this ridiculously hot weather we've been having lately. {Any one else ready to set up a kiddy pool just to stay cool? haha}
